The species Mischivirus acombewi
(formerly named Mischivirus A) contains a single genotype,
mischivirus A1 (aka
Miniopterus schreibersii picornavirus 1) found in bats.
Miniopterus schreibersii picornavirus 1 was found in the
common bent-wing bat (aka Schreiber's long-fingered bat or Schreiber's
bat) (Miniopterus schreibersii)
in China (Wu
et al. 2012).
