Distinct kobuviruses
have been reported from two marmot species (Marmota
himalayana and
Marmota caudata) in China (Luo et al.,
2018; Yan & He, unpub.). Their
genome sequences are about 87% related by nt
identity and their polyproteins are about
91% related by amino acid identity.
