The species
Rosavirus chewhibe (formerly named Rosavirus C)
consists of
three genotypes, rosavirus C1, C2 and C3, all found in rats.
Genotypes were designated based on a 24% nt difference cutoff in VP1 (N.J.
Knowles, unpub. data).
