Passerivirus B is a
species containing waxbill passerivirus identified in the violet-eared waxbill (Uraeginthus
granatina) a species of species of
estrildid finch (Pankovics et al., 2018). The genome is
over 1 Kb longer than that previously reported for passerivirus A1
which are incomplete at their 5' ends.
