The genus Teschovirus consists of
two species, Teschovirus A
(formely named Porcine teschovirus) and
Teschovirus B, both containing viruses found in
pigs. The partial genome
sequence of a tescho-like virus found in fruit bats (Eidolon
helvum) has been found in Saudi Arabia (Mishra et al.,
unpub.; KX420938).
