Erbovirus, a genus within the family Picornaviridae containing a single species, Erbovirus aequirhi (formerly named Erbovirus A and before that Equine rhinitis B virus) which contains three (sero)types, equine rhinitis B virus (ERBV)-1, ERBV-2 and ERBV-3. These three viruses were formerly known as equine rhinovirus 2, equine rhinovirus 3 and acid-stable equine picornavirus, respectively.

Equine rhinovirus 1 is now named equine rhinitis A virus (ERAV) and belongs to the species Aphthovirus burrowsi.
