Aichivirus C is a
species within the genus
Kobuvirus
(Reuter et al., 2008, 2009; Yu et al., 2009, 2011). It
consists of two types, aichivirus C1 (porcine kobuvirus 1; PKV-1)
and aichivirus C2 (caprine kobuvirus 1; CaKV-1).
